Fortred- is a single pack finish that is suitable for use on internal concrete, steel, and wooden floors in light-to-medium traffic areas. It is also suitable for exterior use to highlight walkways, car park spaces, and other markings, but is not suitable for use on large external areas. Trade non-slip floor paint, Flortred, provides a semi-gloss finish with a light aggregate for slip resistance. Tested to BS7976 Parts 1-3 for slip resistance, our Anti-Slip Flortred achieves a 'Low Slip Potential' classification according to the Health and Safety Executive, in both dry and wet conditions.
Coverage- 11 square metres per litre depending on the nature and porosity of the surface being painted.
Application- stir well before use. Apply by brush or roller which should be fully loaded for best results. Apply paint evenly by brush and avoid overspreading. Touch dry in 4-6 hours. Recoatable after 16-24 hours. To ease application, the first coat maybe thinnerd with up to 5% by volume of TC2 Thinner and Cleaner. Allow to dry overnight before applying a second coat, if required.
